Li-Chin Li is a Taiwanese sheng musician, who strives to express her musical creativity beyond auditory stimuli.
In her performance, she wants the audience to enter a world to experience the unknown.

2020, Li-Chin produced and performed 《Yong》, an electronic concert combining with Installation art.
2019, Li-Chin co-created 《Will it get better or worse?》 with London-based artist Yen Ching Lin.《Bégonia Maculata》with the Portuguese artist AnaRita Teodoro.
2019, Li-Chin co-created《Hooop》with the Chinese artist Hu Xinyi.
2019, Li-Chin was invited by the Tout Pour la Musique Contemporaine (TPMC) to join the five- year global research project 《SHENG!》 in Paris.
2019, Li-Chin was invited by Taiwanese conductor Tung-Chieh Chuang to perform with Lapland Chamber Orchestra in Finland.
2018, Li-Chin was selected by Taipei Performing Arts Center as a representative artist to Centre National de la Danse (CND) for the Camping Project.
2016, Li-Chin was selected as “The Performer” in a talent cultivation scheme titled “Mentor and Partnership Program” at National Center for Traditional Arts. In December, she was commissioned by the Taichung City Chinese Orchestra to perform her own composition: A Concerto for Sheng and Morin khuur “A desolate City.”
2015, Li-Chin was invited by the National Chinese Orchestra Taiwan to perform her own composition “Demons & Ghosts” as the concerto soloist at the concert “The World of Reeds.”
2014, Because of performing the music from Super Mario Bros., Li-Chin gained international media attention, such as BBC (U.K.), The Verge (U.S.), 20minutes (France), Feber (Sweden), and Rocket News24 (Japan).
2014, Li-Chin held a personal concert titled “Taiwan Sheng Girl,” performing music of only her own compositions at the National Theater and Concert Hall in Taiwan. “Taiwan Sheng Girl” received a nomination for the 13th Taishin Arts Award.
2013, Li-chin was invited by Yat Po Singers—the first professional a cappella choral theatre company in Hong Kong—as the sheng soloist at the premiere of “A Cappella Theatre New Production SING SANG SUNG” in Hong Kong.
